| Jay is excited to announce that he will finally have the opportunity to star opposite his good friend, Christine Lange, and reunite with one of his favorite directors, Zina Bleck, in David Mamet's Oleanna, a tense two-character drama about a university professor accused of sexual harassment by one of his female students. Jay has previously appeared with Christine in productions of The Threepenny Opera, Romeo and Juliet, The Taming of the Shrew and Richard III, but the two have had very little stage time and dialogue together until now. In addition to sharing the stage with Jay, Christine has directed Jay in productions of A Christmas Carol, Anne of the Thousand Days, The Ghost Sonata and, most recently, Euripides' The Bacchae at the 3rd Annual Capital Fringe Festival. Meanwhile, Zina previously directed Jay in The Man Who Came To Dinner and Lost Eden: The Magnificent Welles, a one-man show about the legendary Orson Welles. She will next direct Jay in Noises Off, April 24 - May 9, 2009 with Prince William Little Theatre in Manassas, VA. Oleanna is Jay's second show with Zemfira Stage, a non-Equity and non-profit professional theatre company dedicated to presenting theatre classics and plays that may become classics someday. It is dedicated to bringing people together to learn and grow. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $10 for students, seniors, active duty or retired military, groups and matinees.
